The Prime Minister spoke about the growth of the real wages of Ukrainians.
Wage growth in Ukraine exceeded the pace of price growth, Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman on his page in Facebook.
“The good news. According to state statistics, the average salary of full-time employee in Ukraine in March 2017 amounted to UAH 6752. That’s twice the minimum wage and 8.7% more than in February. This growth is consistent with growth in industrial production, which in March rose more than 8%”, – he wrote.
The Prime Minister noted that over the year the increase in incomes of Ukrainians exceeded 37%.
“Given that inflation over this period amounted to about 15%, I can safely say that wage growth is finally outpacing the rise in prices. And this is what we want: economic growth be converted into real benefit for every Ukrainian,” – he said.
