Athens does not recognize claims for “statehood” group “DNR”.
In the Greek capital Athens on Tuesday, March 21, opened so-called Executive center “DNR”.
“The event was a great joy for us, as you know, this is the third such centre in Europe. In a short time, such centres will be opened in other European countries”, – said the head of the so-called mission Andreas Safaris.
He stated a large Greek Diaspora in the Donbas.
In turn, the official Greek authorities stressed that “center” is not an official status.
“Greece has never recognized the self-proclaimed Donetsk Republic. Any actions that undermine the territorial integrity of Ukraine, are in sharp contrast with the established position of the Greek government”, – said the representative of the foreign Ministry of Greece Stratos Efthymiou.
