The MP is suspected of economic crimes.
According to MP from the faction of the Opposition bloc Vadim Novinsky can be filed a new submission to the Verkhovna Rada. This was announced by Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko.
“Pre-trial investigation in respect of MP novynsky continues. Now we analyse his other actions is likely to lead us to the second appeal to the Parliament to be associated with economic crimes,” – said Lutsenko at the meeting of the procedural Committee of Parliament, answering a question why after the resolution on removal from Novinsky immunity, he is still not charged with suspicion.
As reported, on 8 December, the Verkhovna Rada deprived of immunity of Vadim Novinsky. Voted 228 deputies.
The Parliament took this decision because of the case about the attack on the Metropolitan of the UOC-MP Alexander drabinko. Novinsky himself not guilty, and the case he calls politically motivated “detective”. He promised to stay in Ukraine and to cooperate with the investigation.
