The court allowed the Prosecutor General to withdraw documents on the nationalization and the former leadership of PrivatBank.
Pechersk district court of Kyiv allowed the Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine (PGO) to withdraw documentation of the nationalization and the former leadership of PrivatBank.
About it it is told in court materials.
So, GPU is conducting an investigation on the fact of abuse of official position and taking possession of officials PrivatBank someone else’s property in especially large sizes on signs of the crimes provided by part 5 of article 191, part 2 St. 364 of the Criminal code.
“Officials of PrivatBank, by abuse of his official position, in 2014, took possession of another property, namely the public funds of the National Bank of Ukraine allocated for the refinancing to PrivatBank in especially large sizes”, – it is told in court materials.
On 19 October, the Pechersky district court of Kiev allowed the investigators to withdraw the Deposit guarantee Fund of individuals ‘ deposits to the documentation on the nationalization of PrivatBank: the decision on introduction of temporary administration in the Bank; the decision on termination of provisional administration; agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the guarantee Fund on the sale of 100% of PrivatBank.
The court also allowed to withdraw documents at the main office of PrivatBank in the Dnipro signed contracts with the Chairman of the Supervisory Board Gennady Bogolyubov, and the Chairman of the Board Alexander Dubilet; the decision of the NBU on the harmonization of Dubilet for the position of Chairman of the Board; personal matters of the Chairman of the Board of PrivatBank.
The investigation will take statements incorporate the refinancing loans PrivatBank.
