The Prosecutor General’s office denied any connection searches with the political activities of the MP.
MP Igor Mosiychuk said that employees of the Prosecutor General and security Service of Ukraine came with a search warrant at his parliamentary reception, and also to his lawyer and the assistant to Andrei Grits. About this he wrote in Facebook.
“Employees of GPU and SBU who came to search my public reception in Vasilkov, making sure that it really is each of the people’s Deputy, apologized and left,” – wrote Mosiychuk.
He also added that the staff of the GPU carried out a search at his lawyer and assistant Andrew Hominy. He recalled that Hominy known human rights activist, on account of his not one saved the fate of activists and fighters, past war in the Donbass, and volunteers.
The lawyer on his page wrote the following: “the Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine conducts searches and I have a lawyer Sivakov! It’s the revenge of the deputies of the Prosecutor General Stolyarchuka and Matios for our advocacy.”
In turn, the press Secretary of the Prosecutor General Larisa Sargan said that the searches are not associated with the political activities of the Chairman.
“Searches are now being conducted by the Main investigation Department of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, have nothing to do with the political activities of the MP Mosiychuk,” wrote assistant Yuri Lutsenko.
