In the document we are talking about smart glasses with new design that differs significantly from the layout of the acclaimed gadget Google Glass. The original version of Glass, in fact, was a frame with a special electronic module in the area of the right eye. The patented device looks like an ordinary sunglasses.
In the glass of the new electronic assistant is proposed to integrate a small panel micro-LED. This will allow you to display the right information in front of the eyes of the user. Thus, it will be possible to work in the augmented reality mode.
The necessary electronic components, including microprocessor controllers, wireless connections and memory chips, can be integrated into the arms and the frame. In addition, the device can be given a camera and various sensors.
Google filed a patent back in March of last year; currently the document is under consideration. It is not excluded that in the future the proposed design will find application in the real wearable gadget, but so far about these plans, the search giant is not reported.
