Google has published a list of the most popular car brands

The rankings are based on the most frequent search queries.

Search engine Google has published a list of the most popular car brands in the United States for 2017. The rankings are based on the most frequent search queries. In total, the list included ten companies.

In comparison with last year the rating has changed significantly. So, from the list is missing a very expensive premium and sporting brands such as, Bentley, Maserati, Lamborghini and Rolls-Royce. At the same time there is the Korean brands Kia and Hyundai, which were not in the “Top 10” last year.

In 2016 the most popular brand on the queries to Google was “Honda”. Back to 2015 Chevrolet was in the lead, and in 2014-m – Ford. In the ranking of three years ago there was only one European brand BMW. Gradually the number increased to three (Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen), and then, in 2016, to seven.
