Google Camera with HDR mode+ ported to unsupported smartphones

Now, the option HDR+ in Google Camera is available not only to owners of smartphones Pixel.

The developer had based the Google Camera from a test build of Android O and modified the app to run on smartphones with ISP chip Hexagon 680 or higher. This possibility is in any device based on Snapdragon 820, 821 and 835.

Fashion Google Camera survived the HDR+ and the notification of processing of photography by the algorithm. Interestingly, the developer has added a reference to Pixel XL 2 in the code to mask an unsupported device has not yet published new.

B-S-G said that spent 6-8 hours over two evenings. Now modified Google Camera released in five versions with different processing algorithms, and the author has addressed the bug with the front camera. Download the current version here.
