Google appealed against a record fine by the European Commission

Google is still in the other two antitrust cases of the European Commission.

Google has filed an appeal in the court of the European Union on the European Commission’s decision on fines in the amount of 2.42 billion euros. On Monday, September 11.

Thus, the European Commission in June fined the American Internet company because Google has abused his position, giving preference to its own service comparison shopping.

The company had over 90 days to cease such actions or to pay penalties in the amount of up to 5% of the average daily turnover of Alphabet, the parent company Google.

It is noted that Google is in the other two antitrust cases of the European Commission.
