Maxim Gerasim alleged return from a business trip in Russia on Friday, 13 October.
Lawyer Maxim Gerasim representing in court the interests of the ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych sent to the Obolon district court of Kiev a request to postpone consideration of criminal proceedings, since he returned from Russia only 13 Oct. This UNN reported the press Secretary of the court Inna Svinarenko.
“Did the court request to postpone the proceedings due to the fact that he returned on 13 October,” – said the spokesman.
Svinarenko said that during a meeting scheduled for Wednesday, October 11, the motion court put up for discussion.
Later it became known that the court was moved on 19 October, the trial for treason of ex-President Victor Yanukovych from-for absences of the lawyer.
