Eight-year-old Gracie, sincerely believing in God girl, wakes up in the middle of the night by a loud noise. Then she hears a bloodcurdling scream of his mother, grabs a flashlight and hurry to the voice. She was taught that any problem can be solved with prayer, but it seems now it won’t help her.

The film “good night, Gracie” grew out of my emotional turmoil associated with divorce. I woke up at night from the feeling of unaccountable dread. It seemed to me that someone killed my parents and now coming for me. I believe that horror creates an ideal environment for metaphors, so I invented a little girl and added a new motive in story: blind faith leads to death. If you want to cope with their problems, praying is not enough. You have to do something. If one person will see this short film, and it will affect his life, then I’ve done my job.
Well, that sounds reasonable, sincere and optimistic. Maybe the girl and not die?
