NBU Governor handed the President his resignation.
The head of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeria Gontareva wrote and submitted to the President a resignation, the source said to the Agency Interfax-Ukraine.
Neither the Bank, nor in the presidential Administration information does not comment.
However, the NBU at 11:00 announced a press conference of the head and members of the Board of the national Bank, without specifying the subject.
Note, on the morning of 6 April activists of the National housing came to Gontareva home and painted the fence of her home.
It was earlier repeatedly reported about the imminent dismissal of the Governor of the National Bank.
So, on March 2 Gontareva has not ruled out his resignation after signing the Memorandum with the IMF (which was received on 5 April).
In early April, the newly elected head of the faction PPO Artur Gerasimov had to refute the alleged statement of Gontareva’s resignation.
On her resignation it was also announced by the Deputy head of the faction PPO Irina Lutsenko.
