The head of National Bank Valeria Gontareva announced his resignation may 10, 2017. However, she said that he may retire before, by the vote of the Verkhovna Rada.
The other Board members to resign will not be served.
“From the beginning I emphasized that they go to the national Bank to make reforms. For myself, I even planned a shorter period of tenure as head of the National Bank. But leave the reform of the banking system at a critical time I could not”, – said Gontareva.
