Today on the official website of the iconic rock group AC/DC in Facebook was published the news that Malcolm Mitchell young has died at the age of 64. And this despite the fact that only last month died George young, the producer of the band, one of the members of this talented family.
The text in the social network reads:
With deep and sincere sadness for AC/DC to announce the death of Malcolm young. Malcolm together with Angus was the founder and Creator of AC/DC. He was the driving force behind the group with his usual dedication and efficiency. Guitarist, songwriter and visionary, he was also just a unique person.
Australian band AC/DC was born in November 1973, formed around two brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, natives of Scotland. The men were among the pioneers of hard rock and heavy metal, and they were assured that play rock-n-roll. Angus — permanent lead guitarist, Malcolm on rhythm guitar.
In 2014, Malcolm young was forced to withdraw from the performances because of health problems. Later, the family confirmed that he was suffering from dementia, almost completely lost short-term memory.
And now, after a long illness today, surrounded by family Malcolm died. However, he will forever remain in music history and in the hearts of fans. Thank you, Malcolm, it was great!
