This month in the International Berlin film festival premiere of the dramatic Thriller Der goldene Handschuh on crimes real serial killer, hunted in Germany in the second half of the twentieth century.
This is the story of Fritz Honka, who killed at least four women in Hamburg in the 1970-ies.
As usual, the criminal had a difficult childhood: the son of former prisoners of concentration camps, beaten to death by alcoholism, one of nine children in the family, he was given by his mother to an orphanage. Like his father, Fritz quickly becomes an inveterate drunkard in later life odd jobs and relationships. The first set of murder Honka made in 1970, the last in 1975. His victims were young prostitutes, mainly over fifty years, Honka strangled, then dismembered and hidden in different places of his apartment. But acquainted he was with them in the bar “the Golden gloves”, which later became known as “the place Honka”.
In 2016, the German writer Heinz Strunk published a book about Fritz Honka, which formed the basis for a future film. The author of the script and directed by Fatih akin, a German of Turkish origin, was awarded the “Golden bear” the Berlin festival for the drama “Head-on” and the prize for best screenplay at the Cannes film festival for his drama “the edge of heaven”.
Starring in “the Golden glove” was performed by Jonas Dassler (“Silent class”), mark Hosemann (“Oh boy”), Margaret Tizel (“Darkness”, 2018), Katya Studt (“Clone”) and Adam Bousdoukos (“limit”).
