Bayern Munich the past season will play without their star goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
The main goalkeeper of “Bavaria” broke his leg in the second match of the 1/4 of the Champions League against real Madrid. Injured Neuer got in overtime when real Madrid scored a third goal. The shot is played down to the final whistle, because by the time the head coach “Bavaria” Carlo Ancelotti had already used all substitutions.
“He has had a serious injury. He’s out for eight weeks”, – said the Chairman of the Board of “Bavaria” Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Neuer won’t help Bayern in the final five games of the Bundesliga and will play in the semifinal match of the German Cup against Borussia Dortmund.
Neuer this season in all competitions and played 40 matches in which conceded 25 goals in 20 matches left his goal intact.
Bayern, despite the departure from the Champions League, this season is unlikely to remain without a trophy. The club from Munich has a strong lead in the Bundesliga to claim the German Cup.
