Gladkovsky, the national security Council will replace the starring presidential candidate

Krivonos was formerly first Deputy commander of the special operations Forces.

President Petro Poroshenko has decided to enter the leadership of the national security Council and defense of Ukraine Sergey Krivonos.

Krivonos – first Deputy commander of the special operations Forces of the Armed forces. He was a candidate, but on March 6, withdrew his candidacy in favor of Poroshenko.

The decree on the appointment of Krivonos on the President’s website not published yet, but Poroshenko during a speech in Kiev at the forum “From energy efficiency to energy independence,” announced the important appointment in the national security Council.

“Today I will sign a decree about a very important personnel assigned to the national security Council and defense of Ukraine of the person who will simultaneously lead the Commission on defense industry and military-technical cooperation. Will be a person who will directly deal with the issues of rearmament of the Armed forces and other military formations and questions of our cooperation with NATO,” said Poroshenko.

Later Poroshenko has officially unveiled Krivonosa as Deputy Secretary of the national security Council, said on the website of the President.

“I want to instruct you that you have provided and posted in the office of the national security Council over the issue of rearmament of the Ukrainian Armed forces and other defence forces, issues of military-technical cooperation and interaction with NATO”, – said Poroshenko.

The President said that Krivonos as a professional soldier with an impeccable reputation is the best choice for this position.
