“Ghost hunters” in China or Paris? Why not?

Ivan Reitman talks about what are the next movies of the franchise of GHOSTBUSTERS.

If you have not noticed, in the last days “Hunters” constantly on the ear. First, Dan Akrod Floor Fig criticized for the irrational use of funds during the filming of the reboot, and then another, and added a bit of criticism on top. Then on June 8 we celebrated international day of the Ghost Hunter and the guys from the company “Mondo” presented to the audience a colorful poster from the film.

In addition, Ivan Reitman, directed the original tape 1984, with Ernie Hudson, actor of the old team of “Hunters”, gave an interview to the resource Super Live News, which was broadcast in Facebook, and discussed there, of course, the future of the franchise.

Recall that in March we heard that Reitman continues to work on the universe of “Hunters”. Now, however, he announced some interesting details about what direction the project is developing, and when a reboot of the original.

We work hard where to move forward with “Ghostbusters”. I think one of the things we dream about as fans, and I, is that anyway to combine these worlds. I think it’s somehow wrong that they were not connected, and we certainly heard a lot about this from everyone. So I definitely want to combine it all.

I confess, have little idea how it happens. The deliberate lack of communication, and simple respect for the first film was one of the main shortcomings of the latter picture to me. And the cameo of the actors from the previous composition had little saved the situation. How do you bring those stories? Parallel worlds? Well, maybe.

However, it turns out that Reitman was going to unite not only different versions of new York from the movies, but also different countries.

In addition, we are constantly thinking about the rights to the franchise, “Ghostbusters”. Because “Ghostbusters”, this concept should not be limited to new York, it can happen all over the world. I think it would be great to see Korean or Chinese ghosts ghosts. All the world’s great cultures have their myths and things that people are afraid. If there were any local team of “Ghostbusters”, which would be linked with the head office in new York, it would be fun.

But it really sounds like a plan.

However, I think something like we have heard before. So maybe this time this idea brought to life? Despite statements by Sony Pictures that they are happy with the painting of the Floor Guys, hardly anyone waiting for the sequel from the same Director and the same spirit. At the same time, I think, recruited cast, including Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones, are potentially very good and this team should not lose.
