German officials strictly “walked” on Erdogan

The Germans did not like the actions of the President.

German politicians on Sunday, September 10, strongly criticized the stance of the Turkish foreign Ministry the day before to warn citizens of the dangers of travel in Germany. On 9 September the Turkish foreign Ministry issued a statement, stating: “Political leaders in Germany are building their election campaign on an anti-Turkish basis and block the membership of our country in the EU.” The document notes that Germany currently is under the influence of “increasing the far right and even racist rhetoric.”
