This was stated by Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, the representative of the humanitarian sub-group TKG Irina Gerashchenko.
“Equality March passed without any provocations and adventures. Although several police officers were injured from the actions of radical young people of Kiev and Ukraine have passed the test of devotion to fundamental European values, the right to be free, equal, to be themselves,” she wrote on Facebook.
“About those who have different, conservative views and is opposed to pride is the right of every person to profess certain views. Why do the police only attack… Violence and aggression is discouraged and condemned in the Bible, by the way,” added Gerashchenko.
She also expressed blagodarnosti Ukrainian police for the good organization of the security event.
