MP Gerashchenko said Putin on accusations of Russophobia.
The people’s Deputy Irina Gerashchenko gave a sharp response to accusations from the President of Russia to the Ukrainian authorities. Vladimir Putin in Hamburg declared that in Ukraine “trade Russophobia” and “peddling the politics of division Russia and Ukraine.”
“No, it’s not Russophobia, — said Irina Gerashchenko. — It’s bigger than forever. This understanding who is the enemy and murderer, a looter and a robber, an invader and occupier, sneaky neighbor who hates Ukraine and requiring Ukrainians to love birch trees, balalaika and Russian world, Russian tanks and little green men without chevrons. From such a mad neighbor should stay away”.
According to Gerashchenko, of Ukraine’s actions not dictated by fear, but pragmatism.
“It’s not a phobia, but a statement of fact and pragmatism. “Farewell, unwashed Russia” — it is our goal to break away, for the survival of Ukraine”, — said Gerashchenko.
