The actor has proposed to his sweetheart after six months after the start of their romance.
George Clooney has long been one of the hottest Hollywood bachelors who in the past swore that he never married (the actor from 1989 to 1993 was married to actress Waist Balsam). However, having met the British lawyer Amal Alamuddin, the actor’s views on marriage have dramatically changed. Clooney first saw Amal at his home on lake Como.
“She came with a friend that I invited. After that I pursued her — call and write,”— said the 55-year-old actor on the show David Letterman. “From the minute we met, we both felt that we will be together,” Clooney admitted.
In the end, George made a proposal to his sweetheart after six months after the start of their romance, despite the fact that he planned all of this, everything went smoothly.
“It was one of those terrible moments… I figured it out, I had the ring, music played, my aunt rosemary was singing a song Why Shouldn’t I. it was All planned… It took 25 minutes, and in the end, I said, “Look, I hope you’ll say Yes, but I need an answer now because I am 52 and soon I might dislocate my hip.” And she said “Yes” it worked”,— said the actor.
