Most of the money has been returned, but still some part of them children spent on sweets and stickers.
Spain 10-year-old student gave classmates 10 thousand euros, which his grandfather had been saving medicines and medical equipment for the home.
The incident occurred in the school of Caldes de Montbui in the province of Barcelona. During the lunch break, the teachers noticed that several children were in possession of a banknote of 100 euros. The children were told that the money they gave to a classmate, who immediately confessed to everything.
Teachers had to create a separate chat in WhatsApp, in which they asked parents of classmates generous child to give the money back.
“If your son or daughter got the money, please, immediately contact the school administration. It is necessary to return more than 10 thousand euros. We ask you to show maximum understanding and solidarity. This is not a joke”, — was stated in the first message.
The unusual chat drew the attention of the staff of the local radio stations that have repeated this call live. The reality of this story confirmed to reporters discouraged parents. “Incredible, but it’s the truth,” they said.
