A subsidiary of the Russian “Gazprom South Stream Transport B. V. signed with the British company Petrofac a contract for the construction of the ground infrastructure of the “Turkish stream”.
The amount of the transaction, which involves the construction of the onshore pipeline and gas receiving terminal in Turkey, amounted to 340 million euros, the press service of Petrofac.
The capacity of the terminal, the introduction of which into operation is scheduled for December 2019, will amount to 31.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year. Natural gas will be supplied from a compressor station Russian Anapa. Construction start date not reported.
As reported, Gazprom has already built about 50 km of the gas pipeline “Turkish stream” on the bottom of the Black sea.
