In the sticky Area network Horror footage from the hit mysterious Thriller, “the Gate of Devil” (Devil’s Gate), where lit is our favorite — actor Javier Botet, a master at creating the most bizarre and creepy images in the film.
“Gate of the Devil” — the debut film Director and screenwriter Clay Stauba. The painting is well received at the Tribeca festival, and now we wait for 2017 FrightFest in London. There will be premieres of such films as “Leather face” and “the Cult of Chucky”, which we wrote about recently.
What to expect from the “Gate of the Devil”?
Apparently, the story begins as a traditional police drama, but in the end spills over into very different genres, touching on supernatural motives.
The synopsis of the film sounds like this:
Trying to get back into action after a tragic professional setbacks, FBI special agent Darius Francis arrives in a small town in North Dakota, to investigate the disappearance of a local woman and her young son. At first everything points to the missing spouse. Banal everyday crime? However, it soon turns out that the secluded farmhouse of this family hides secrets far more terrible and even disgusting horrors, which are difficult to represent in a sound state of mind.
Looks like the “abominable terrors” will answer just Javier Botet, the benefit of on his account there are already many ominous and memorable characters: the Crooked man, the ghostly Mother, a demonic lady from the finale of “Reportage” and even one Xenomorph. Learn it on one of the following frames is also easy.
Well, the role of a more or less normal people played Amanda Shull (TV series “12 monkeys”), Milo Ventimiglia (“rocky Balboa”), Bridget Regan (“Sons of anarchy”), Jonathan Frakes (“Star trek: First contact”), Shawn Ashmore (“X-Men: Days of future past”), and other actors.
Well, we will wait, as “the Gate of Devil” will show itself on the festivals, and then we can make plans about the release in cinemas or network services. In the meantime, among other things, can check out small, not that much original, but still a tense piece of film.
