The price of natural gas for the population must increase by 17.6% – to UAH 8,032 thousand per thousand cubic meters. The corresponding calculations made by the Ministry of energy and coal industry.
Thus, in accordance with the current methods, the gas price without VAT is necessary to improve the 5,815 thousand. And taking into account taxes, margins of suppliers and transport costs the final price for households and public utilities will be 8,032 thousand UAH at the current rate of 6,937 thousand UAH per thousand cubic meters.
However, the government believes that this price is unacceptable due to the low solvency of the population.
