From Zubko estimated paid decent salaries for Ukrainians

This is 16 thousand hryvnia

The government has estimated the wage level which will keep the Ukrainians from the labour migration abroad.

This is 16 thousand hryvnia

This was stated by Vice Prime Minister – Minister of regional development, construction, housing and utilities Hennadiy Zubko, reports his press-service.

“Labour migration is one of the biggest threats to the state after military aggression. Military action in the East took on the protection of the state of 250 thousand absolutely able-bodied population. The number of people gone from the real industrial sector,” he said in an interview with “Left Bank”.

Among other risks Zubko noted that the construction of new enterprises in the countries of Eastern Europe are now calculated directly on labour migration from Ukraine. In his opinion, the government does not hold people at any salary, if there is no normal road and social infrastructure, kindergartens, schools.

. “Official figures for the Ukrainians working abroad, we can roughly multiply by five, only in Poland employs more than a million. A small difference in wages in Ukraine in comparison with the European will give the opportunity not to go anywhere. A worker who travels to Poland receives a salary – 800-1000 Euro or 25-30 thousand. But has additional costs for housing, transportation and the like. Consider, if the average salary will rise to 16 thousand hryvnia, it will give the opportunity to keep people in Ukraine”, – said Deputy Prime Minister.

He also noted the importance of the right to realize the potential of labor resources in Ukraine.

“We have 24 million working population, including 8 million men, 16 million were women. At a recent forum regional development, I noted the need to build kindergartens to free women from household work. Today is the turn in kindergartens is more than 52 thousand seats, so women have to educate children at home. In this category you can find employment online. Another niche of the labor potential of people with disabilities. Must develop a completely different level of inclusion. Because a huge number of people in need, and they can work”, – said Zubko.

Recall that a number of experts believe that despite the difficult socio-economic and politi cal crisis in the country, increasing minimum wages and pensions without other economic arrangements in fact has only led to inflation, rising prices.
