This unique architectural project is located in North-West London. It would seem that water tower and a house in futuristic style are incompatible. But this project is a perfect proof to the contrary, it’s a stunning combination of old and new.
The water tower in the Venetian style was built in 1877, it is 99 ft tall with 5 ft thick walls, it is crowned with a huge steel water tank. In 2008, the tower was put up for sale, and for only £ 395 000 it was sold to the current owner.
The current owner has developed and brought to life that original idea, turning the tower into a chic and completely unique house. The main water tower now has four bedrooms and a full 360-degree views across London, with the Elevator shaft right next to the tower. As you can see, some of the rooms are completely transparent, living room and kitchen of the residential resemble a glass cube… or rather the way it is.
