Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine regarding the increase in wholesale selling and retail prices on alcoholic beverages was published on August 30, it will enter into force 10 days after publication, i.e. on 9 September.
The decision to increase the price of alcohol, the Cabinet adopted on 9 August.
On vodka and LIKERO-vodka products, the minimum wholesale selling and retail prices increased by 14-19,41%, whiskey, rum, gin 6.5-6.6%, cognac (brandy) – 12.3 -29,1% wines 7.1 to 13.3%.
According to the decree, the minimum retail price of vodka increased by 14%, or $ 9.77 USD. So, a bottle of 0.5 liter will cost 79,55 hryvnia. Earlier the price was $ 69,78 hryvnias for a bottle of 0.5 liters.
Minimum retail prices for “three star” cognac will be 119,46 hryvnia per bottle of 0.5 liter. “Four star” brandy will cost 129, 03 hryvnia for 0.5 liters, and a “five star” – 138, 5 hryvnia for the same capacity.
Prices for wine increased from 33 to 37 hryvnia, fortified wine and vermouth – from 42 to 45 hryvnia, the sparkling wine from 69,9 to 79. 19 USD.
Also more expensive cider, Perry (without added alcohol), beverages obtained by natural fermentation of fruit and berry juices with an alcoholic content of not more than 8.5%. The price will increase to 28.47 USD.
