Will play Russian composers.
In the British city of Salisbury, where poisoned former Russian spy Sergei Skripal, will host a concert called “From Russia with love”. This publication reports The Independent.
It is reported that the concert will be held in the Church of St Martin October 13. The concert will feature pianists who play classical works of Russian composers such as Sergei Rachmaninoff, Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Dmitry Shostakovich.
Note that the name of the concert coincides with the eponymous novel about James bond is the fictional MI6 agent that he works with a Soviet agent. One of the organizers and performers of the concert Gill Bolton argues that the speech was planned a year in advance and has nothing to do with what happened in Salisbury.
“Sorry we chose this name. Music has nothing to do with the events. I hope that people look beyond the names and instead look at a concert program,” said Bolton.
