The creators of the Park were inspired by the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm.
A huge amusement Park opened in Hokkaido, Japan, in 1989. The complex includes a theme Park, hotel, museums, shops, restaurants and offices.
Its creation was inspired by the tales of the Brothers Grimm. To ensure the authenticity of the architecture, replica German statues and materials, including 400-year old granite paving, was imported from Berlin and Dresden. The Park was supposed to allow the Japanese to get an idea of medieval Germany without leaving the country.
Now this abandoned place looks very gloomy.
