Fresh rating of the most reliable cars of 2018

Authoritative analytical company, USA – J. D. Power – has made a rating of reliability of new cars in 2018.

Presents a list of experts reinforced the good news – the quality of the machines is increasing for the fourth consecutive year.

In their study, the experts relied on the number of problems per 100 vehicles during the first 90 days of ownership. The greater the number of problems – the higher the level of quality. Cars-Pobediteli were selected in eight categories.

According to a study this year, the quality of new cars compared to 2017 has improved by 4%. The increase also observed in six of the eight categories.

With regard to the most reliable brands, here the leadership belongs to the Korean brands – Genesis, Kia and Hyundai. They were followed by Porsche, Ford and Chevrolet. But at the end of the list are premium brands Land Rover, Jaguar and Volvo.

Most reliable city model of Americans identified Kia Rio, while the Toyota Corolla won the top award in the compact car class. In business class the victory was won by the Acura ILX and the BMW 4-Series and in the segment of premium cars – BMW 7-Series and Mercedes S-Class. Leadership in the categories of compact, mid-size and full-size sedan has won a Nissan Altima, Lincoln Continental and a Nissan Maxima, respectively.

The winners were among SUV Buick Envision, Kia Sorento, Hyundai Tucson and Ford Expedition. Mercedes GLA and Lincoln MKC won the first place in class premium SUV. Finally, the leaders of classes pickup truck, sports car and other steel – Chevrolet Silverado and Silverado HD, Ford Mustang and F-Series Super Duty and Dodge Grand Caravan.
