“Vertical forest” will help fight smog in Paris
Architect Stefano Boeri will be built in the suburb of Villiers sur Marne (France) an apartment building, whose walls are lined with 2000 plants. This writes the New Atlas.
Building height of 54 meters will be entirely planted with trees. On the lower floors will house offices and the rest will be usual apartment. Balconies and terraces will come out on all four sides of the green tower. And the facades will be decorated with 2000 trees, shrubs and plants.
According to representatives of the architectural firm Boeri, this is the equivalent of a hectare of forest.
