The Ukrainian military continue to participate in the tank biathlon NATO Europe Tank Strong Challenge in 2017, which takes place in Germany on the ground in Grafinia.

“Today, may 10, Ukrainian tankers will demonstrate the coherence of the platoon in the defense and destroy the target with a “reference point”, – the press service of the defense Ministry of Ukraine.

The Ministry informed that during the second day of competition, on may 9, the Ukrainian team competed in pistol shooting and doing tasks on search and recognition.

“Our tanks fired domestic gun Fort of three positions: prone, kneeling and standing. The shooting exercise was performed in the crew and ended by shooting the tank commander from the turret of a combat vehicle,” – said in the message.

Also, the Ukrainians spent stage under the name “Combat shooting platoon in the attack”.

“The difficulty was that under the terms of the competition our team was not able to hold any trial in the shooting range,” – noted in the defense Ministry.

It is reported that scores all teams combined, but were not disclosed and will be announced at the end of the competition.
