The pilot “Mercedes” Lewis Hamilton after the Grand Prix of Malaysia further strengthened its leadership in the fight for the title of world champion in Formula 1.
In Kuala Lumpur Hamilton finished behind race winner max Verstappen and earned 18 points. Vettel due to technical problems in qualifying showed the result and started the race from the last position – the Germans managed to break through to fourth place, but still six points away from the championship.
Five races to the end of the season a theoretical chance to displace Hamilton from the leading position to retain only Vettel, Bottas and ricciardo.

In the Cup of designers only improbable coincidence of circumstances can prevent the “Mercedes” ahead of schedule to win the title. The German stables already on 118 points ahead of Ferrari. Red bull is third, but after the Malaysian Grand Prix, the Austrians lost even theoretical chances of a victory in the team standings.
