Note, this is the first interrogation of the former President.
Former South Korean President Park Geun-Hye left the building of the Prosecutor’s office after almost 22 hours after the beginning of the interrogation.
The Prosecutor’s office suspects that Park Geun-Hye of involvement in 13 cases of corruption involving her closest friend Choi sung-SIL, arrested late last year.
Questioning Park Geun-Hye lasted 14 hours and ended around midnight local time. She had to leave the building of the Prosecutor’s office, after checking the fidelity of the recorded testimony.
According to Yonhap news, Park Geun-Hye rejected all the charges against her accusations and stated that she “was not to anything involved and nothing to know.”
On other matters the former President said that “it was part of normal public policy, and intentions to help Choi sung-SIL to pursue her personal interests,” she was not.
Note, this is the first interrogation of the former President, as previously it enjoyed the right of legal immunity and refused meetings with prosecutors.
