Former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen did not rule out future recognition of Crimea as a “free education”.
He stated this at a conference of U.S. Sanctions against Russia: an assessment of their impact and costs.
“I wouldn’t rule out the possibility that one day in the future circumstances will allow us to welcome Crimea as a free education, whether it is integrated in the Ukraine or in any other way… I won’t exclude the possibility that there may be a new situation,” said former NATO Secretary General.
