Ukraine plans to increase financing of the defense Ministry next year to 83.3 billion USD.
This was reported by Minister of defense Stepan Poltorak during a working visit to Lviv region.
“Previously, after the meeting of the Council of national security and defence, the budget for the Armed forces of Ukraine next year is planned to 83.3 billion, but need more the decision of the government and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine”, – quotes the press service of the defense Ministry.
“The budget for next year is expected in two and a half fold increase in financial resources for the development of weapons and equipment. We are moving from “content budget” to “development budget”” – said Poltorak.
Recall that in the state budget for 2017 at the needs of the Ministry of defence laid 62.5 billion UAH (taking into account the special Fund was 68.8 billion)
