While the major Universal breaking eggs, deciding to be or not to be a new movie about the invisible Man, distributor Spotlight Pictures has bought the rights to canadian science-fiction horror film “the Unseen” (The Unseen), which is, as they say, a modern look at the subject of the novel by Hg wells.
After learning about his illness, associated with complete loss of skin pigmentation, Bob Langmore understands that if his secret is widely known, it will ruin the life of his whole family. Not knowing what to do, he just runs away from his wife Darlene and daughters of eve, alone in a small Northern town. 8 years later, when his daughter goes missing, Bob is ready to sacrifice everything to find her and bring her home.
“Invisible” on his own script removed the debutant Geoff Rednap, known for his work on the special effects for such films as “Deadpool” and “Cabin in the woods” – so visually spectacular part in his movie, everything must be level (with a correction for the obviously modest budget). The film premiered this year at the Fantasia international Film Festival, where “Invisible” is quite warmly welcomed by the audience and critics.
The “stars” in the cast is not observed, but experienced enough of actors: Aden young (“I, Frankenstein”), Ben cotton (“the Scar 3D”, “30 days of night 2”), Camille Sullivan (TV’s “the Man in the high castle”), Nickolas baric (“Toxin”), Alison Araya (episode “Pine”), while Eugene Lipinski played in “the Leviathan” 1989 issue with Peter Weller.
