Four-door supercar Mercedes-AMG GT4, which will receive a 610-horsepower twin-turbo V8 engine, debuts at the Geneva motor show.
In a publication Carscoops has the first official photo of the four-door supercar Mercedes-AMG GT4, which will premiere March 6 at the Geneva motor show. The novelty will compete with the Audi RS7 Sportback, Porsche Panamera and future BMW M8 Gran Coupe.
The production car will borrow the major stylistic elements of the prototype Mercedes-AMG Concept presented last spring. Plus, a four-door supercar will get an active rear spoiler that automatically advance after reaching a certain speed.
According to preliminary data, Mercedes-AMG GT4 will be equipped with chetyrehlitrovy twin-turbo V8 engine, which, for example, on E63 AMG develops 610 horsepower. According to another version, the novelty will be equipped with a hybrid power plant, created on the basis of the same engine that will be paired with electric motor. Total return units will be about 800 forces. This car will directly compete with the 680-horsepower Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid.
Mercedes-AMG GT4 replace in the line of the German mark, the current CLS 63 AMG. It is expected that mass production of new items will begin in September, and the first cars will reach customers by the end of this year.
