A stream of water running from the top of the Eastern side of the famous mountain El Capitan in Yosemite National Park turns into a fiery cascade, a lava-like.
The elusive angle of sunlight during sunset mixed with the falling water, and “Horse tail” (Horsetail Fall Horsetail fall) begins to glow in the dazzling colors of the setting sun.
This amazing wonder of nature became known in 1973, when the photographer Galen Rowell took the picture of the glowing waterfall. Since then, and other talented landscape artists have set out to capture the “Horse tail” in the fiery light. Some really succeed:
