Pixel smartphones will receive the update first.
Gadgets Pixel from Google the first to receive a firmware update to Android O, probably in August.
The Creator of the profile of the resource Android Police, David Ruddock stated that Google Pixel will receive an update to Android O during the first two weeks of August 2017.
Most likely, Google Pixel and Pixel XL will receive the upgrade to the new OS at the same time. Note that last year, the first Google Nexus received the update to Android Nougat at the end of August. In 2017 the update should appear a little earlier.
Some device makers have already managed to declare which of their smartphones and tablets is also worth the wait update. Among them OnePlus OnePlus 3T 3 and and Nokia 3, Nokia Nokia 5 and 6.
Version of Android O need to bring a number of new features including picture-in-picture, adapted icons and the new control system notifications.
