ATO position during the day, fired 108 times.
For the last day, 8 March, units of the separatists 69 times opened fire on positions of Ukrainian armed forces in Donbas, the press center of staff ATO.
“Casualties among our troops there. Yesterday, during the performance of duty on the front lines, our troops found the enemy sniper group. One sniper destroyed”, – stated in the message.
On the Mariupol direction from the enemy mortars shelled Marinka, Chermalyk and Pavlopol. Rocket-propelled grenades, heavy machine guns and small arms – Lebedinsky, Palopoli, Novogrigoryevka, Water, Hnutove and Shyrokyne. At Shirokino, Water and Hnutove were fire BMP.
In Donetsk direction of the 122-mm artillery repeatedly shelled Zaitsev. With mortars of various calibers – Verkhnetoretskoye, Maori, Novgorod, Avdeevka and Luhansk. Rocket-propelled grenades and heavy machine guns – Item, Sands, Nevel, Kamenka, Novoluganskoe, Novgorod, Trinity and Zaitsev. At zaytsevo and Novgorod the fire also led snipers.
On Lugansk the direction from 120-mm mortars separatists fired on Novooleksandrivka, Popasnaya and Trinity, and from small arms shelled krymske and Stanytsia Luhanska.
