Fiat talks with Volkswagen about co-production

Volkswagen and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is planning joint production of a light SUV.

Sources said that the talks are still at an early stage. It is noted that in the framework of cooperation the company can engage in the production of future versions of the Volkswagen Caddy pickup Volkswagen Amarok.

Earlier it was reported that Chinese manufacturer of pickups and SUVs, Great Wall wants to buy a unit for the production of the Jeep, which is part of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA).
