Fetisov Mutko criticized for what is happening in the Russian sports

The Olympic champion on hockey, the Deputy of the state Duma Vyacheslav Fetisov criticized the work of Vitaly Mutko, Russian sports who led from 2008 to 2016. According to Fetisov, once head of Rossport, Mutko made a mistake, refusing to continue the transfer of authority of sports federations, and taking a course for tougher “vertical control by the state.”

Recall, Fetisov took the post of head of Rossport (Federal Agency for physical culture and sports) in 2004. Four years later, the post was abolished. “Chief” sport appointed Mutko, who became Minister of sport, tourism and youth policy.

Fetisov recalled that immediately after assuming the office of Minister of sport Mutko criticized the work of former sports executives and assured that he knows how everything should work.

“The man did not sports education, he knew how to work the world system. Well, we all wished him success and we now have what we have”, — said Fetisov.

Recall that in the last four years, Russian sport constantly “reeling” endless doping scandals. The last of them: in early December, the World anti-doping Agency (WADA) has removed the Russians from participation in major international competitions, including the Olympics, due to regular violations of the doping regime. WADA on the audit database of the Moscow laboratory (LIMS) has decided that from 2016 to early 2019, with her manipulations were carried out in order to conceal possible violations of anti-doping rules by Russian athletes for the period from 2012 to 2015.
