It’s funny, but this is the third picture under the name of Desolation, which we tell for the last time. In November, Zone Horror has shared with you exclusive content on the horror film “Havoc”. And just last week we wrote about a camp horror film “Wasteland”. Fortunately, due to the ambiguity of the word all three titles in the Russian language with a clear conscience, call in different ways, so that now, boys, let’s talk about “Desperate”.
Working in the Motel, Cathy unexpectedly meets a popular actor Jay. The man fascinates the girl and takes with him to Los Angeles. But then Jay gets the role and is forced to leave, leaving Cathy to wait for his return. Then everything begins to fall apart…
The girl Rob, keys and wallet are lost. The police are no help. Terrified, stuck in Los Angeles in a strange apartment with no means of livelihood, she tries to call to friends from his native city, but in response received only a “Wrong number”. Jay is also not contacted. Finally, when a local newspaper there is her obituary, Kathy realizes that evil plays with her in their strange, very violent and scary game.
Judging by the trailer, in the apartment of Jay bad things are happening, run by the ghosts of kids and that’s all. And the building itself looks suspicious and creepy. The video gives a damp, but the plot seems interesting. I suspect there are hidden some clever twist.

The story of “Despair” invented by Craig Walendziak (“Infection: Phase 2”, co-produced, “He never died”) and newcomer Matthew McCarthy. As the Director debuted David Moscow, previously known as an actor with great experience. So it was he who played the young protagonist in the movie “Big” with Tom Hanks. Of the later works can be called a “Zombie. FM” and “Victim of beauty”.
Starring in “Desperate” performed Dominik Garcia-Lorido (“City of dreams”), Brock Kelly (“Supernatural”) and Raymond J. Barry (“Hammer”).
Earlier, the film was presented at the festival in Poland, and is now preparing for a limited release in theatres of the United States. It will happen January 26, 2018.
