The legendary Swiss tennis player Roger Federer beat Tomas Berdych and booked a place in the final of Wimbledon.
In personal meetings, Federer was ahead of Berdych with a huge margin (18:6), but at Wimbledon the players exchanged victories in 2006 was won by the Swiss, and four years later Cech was able to take revenge.
In the first set, Federer led by a break but lost the advantage. In the tiebreak the Swiss won two balls at the reception, which was enough to take the lead.
During the second set, both players exchanged missed chances at the reception. The second tie-break was a great advantage Federer – Berdych three times missed a draw on his serve and was one step away from relegation from the tournament.
The climax of the third set occurred in the sixth game. Federer with the score 15:40 on his serve and made a series of aces than finally finished off Berdych. In the next game, the Czech lost his serve and accepted defeat.
For his eighth title at Wimbledon Roger Federer will compete with the coach of Marin Cilic, who after his victory over Sam Querrey for the first time reached the final match of the grass Slam.
