Famous Ukrainian tour operator Coral Travel without the consent of its clients has violated the paid contract, to move them to another hotel, while refusing to return the money.

According to him, the client of the travel Agency specifically chose a hotel with plenty of children’s entertainment as went to rest with his grandchildren, but two days before departure, despite previously paid for flights and accommodation, the company reported that a woman with children will be accommodated in another hotel.
“A bunch of lying new passports, plane tickets, vouchers from Travel to accommodation in the desired hotel, as suddenly two days before departure, a Friday afternoon phone call from the agent Coral Travel Ukraine: – We relocated to another hotel! – How? You have no right to change the hotel without our consent! We are not satisfied with another hotel – there are no children’s entertainment, instead of the unlimited free alcohol! – Complain where you want! And if not satisfied, we will refund you the money!” gave communication with the travel agent Kozak.
He further writes that a woman with children flew to Turkey, “hoping it was some kind of mistake and everything will be corrected”.
“But no! Today, in Antalya, they took the vouchers and was told – either a new hotel or deal with their agent in Ukraine and live where you want. The representative of CoralTravel were the children live in alcoholic heaven,” wrote the economist.
“I don’t know who’s to blame – Coral or its agent, but did the extreme unprotected tourists – a middle-aged woman and two girls, actually, not giving a normal array, destroying the contract that prohibit the operator to change the hotel a few days before the trip, the evening before the holiday and departure, it was not possible to appeal! Very accurate and relevant Coral slogan – “a New concept of a family holiday,” – said Kozak.
Also in the comments to the post it published the responses of agencies to objections their clients, which CoralTravel advises clients to “read the contract carefully before signing it” and calls the incident a “force majeure”.
In the end, the tour operator has promised to check the information contained Kozak.
