The star of the show “the Voice”, singer of Ukrainian origin Alexander Panayotov, whom the media called probable representative of Russia at song competition “Eurovision-2017” in Kiev, said that the event should be moved to another location.
He declared to the edition “Days.ru”.
“You know, strange situation and from Ukraine and Russia, – said the artist. – Maybe it would be worth to move the contest to some neutral country, in a different city – London, for example. Or just boycott the “Eurovision”, as some suggest”.
The singer commented on the rumors about what he supposedly will represent Russia at “Eurovision”.
“Such plans I have, – said Panayotov. – I, like everyone, found out about what I supposedly was going anywhere, from the press. Nothing to comment on here I can’t, because I just don’t know. How did these rumors. you should ask the journalists, I think, because they raised this wave. I’ve tried, I applied, but never got into this song contest. Just at home sitting in front of the TV and sick.”
