French weekly Charlie Hebdo has published a caricature of the terrorist attack that took place in Barcelona, where on 17 August a van rammed a crowd of pedestrians.
The artists compared the attack with the bullfight, depicting a white van with a crumpled bonnet, stitched with pikes and swords. Next to the car stands a bullfighter, holding his head and gripping his red flag.
The caption on the cartoon reads: “Barcelona: the security is again under question.”
Charlie Hebdo regularly publishes provocative cartoons about different events. But the really famous magazine was once on the editorial office was attacked by Islamists in January 2015.
